We’re more like the best kind of personal assistant; one that without you noticing takes the time to really get to know you and your preferences, and then makes things happen. And because we are licensed as a broker, we can offer you advice and guidance unlike aggregators.

No, we don’t charge you anything. If you just want to set up and manage your own insurance dashboard or ask us to review your current cover to make sure it’s in good health, we are more than happy to help for free!
When we find you an insurance policy that works really well for you and you buy it through us, that’s when we receive a commission from the insurer (details are in our FSG). Don’t worry, as a general insurance broker, we always act in your best interest. It’s a key obligation and one we’re more than proud to fulfill.

We only use it and share it with third parties so we can provide you with the insurance services you’re with us for. Your data is securely stored on our servers which are based in Australia, so your data never leaves our shores.
We are the youngsters of the Insurtech world. Koverd launched in May 2021 and we’ve been hard at work to bring to you as much insurance wellbeing as we could. Insurance wellbeing is the goal of our mission to make all things insurance so easy to sort out that you feel really good about the cover you have.
We won’t act on your behalf but we will still help you out! When you add policies not bought through koverd to your dashboard, we’ll provide you with tools to make them easier to manage like a summary of who each of your policies is with, contact details, how much you’re spending and we’ll even send you renewal reminders. You’ll still need to contact those insurers (or brokers) for any changes or claims, and any obligations between you and them remain unchanged.
If they are your BYO policies (that you have not bought through us) we aren’t authorised to access your insurance details but we will still provide you with useful prompts and reminders to update your information at each renewal. If you want for us to do it all for you, the best way is to ask us to broker a replacement policy for you.
